Our History
Founded in 1989 as Concrete Recyclers, our company was built on the mission to provide a better customer experience than what was available at the time. As Sydney’s first recycler of construction and demolition waste, we pioneered sustainable material reuse in the industry.
In 1996, we opened our Camellia yard, which became a key hub for the demolition and civil construction sectors. Over the years, we have proudly supplied materials to some of Sydney’s most iconic infrastructure projects, including the Sydney Airport 3rd Runway, M7, Sydney Olympic Park, NorthConnex, and multiple stages of WestConnex.
By the mid 2000s, our fleet had grown to over 60 trucks per day, and we expanded with recycling yards in Terrey Hills, Kurnell, and Western Sydney, making us NSW’s largest recycler of waste, processing over 1 million tonnes per year.
In 2019, we broadened our offerings by introducing a natural quarry material range, followed by the launch of our Cart & Dispose service in 2023. Both new offerings underpinned by our dependable logistic service. The opening of our Minto Recycling Yard in 2024 further expanded our production capacity and improved service to Sydney’s southwest.
In 2025, we introduced our new name—CR+—a reflection of our evolution and growth while staying true to our founding commitment: delivering better service, better materials, and better solutions for the industry.
